Overview
People, families and businesses increasingly move between India and the United Kingdom. The chamber advises on both sides of that corridor, drawing on its principal's legal education in the UK (LL.M., Newcastle).
India. The Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 came into force on 1 September 2025. It replaced the Passports (Entry into India) Act, 1920, the Registration of Foreigners Act, 1939, the Foreigners Act, 1946 and the Immigration (Carriers' Liability) Act, 2000 with a single law, and was followed by the Immigration and Foreigners Rules and Order, 2025. Hotels, universities, hospitals and employers that host foreign nationals now have defined reporting duties. The chamber advises foreign nationals, OCI cardholders, NRIs and the institutions that host them, and takes up writ remedies where the authorities act unlawfully.
United Kingdom. For clients going to the UK, the chamber helps with skilled worker, student, graduate, family and visitor applications, document preparation, and responses to refusals. UK immigration advice is regulated in the UK. Advice and representation on UK immigration law are provided in coordination with solicitors or advisers regulated in the UK.

Frequently asked questions
Do hotels and colleges have to report foreign guests and students?
Yes. Under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025 and the rules made under it, hotels, educational institutions, hospitals and similar institutions must report foreign nationals who stay with or are admitted by them.
Can you help if my UK visa was refused?
Yes. The chamber reviews the refusal letter and your documents and advises on a fresh application, an administrative review or an appeal. Appeals and judicial review in the UK are handled together with UK-regulated counsel.
My OCI card has been cancelled. What can I do?
Cancellation under the Citizenship Act, 1955 must follow due process, including a reasonable opportunity of being heard. Depending on the facts, a representation or a writ petition before the High Court may be possible.
